Our psychologists can help with a range of difficulties including (though not limited to) anxiety, depression, anger & aggression, trauma, life transitions, stress and burnout, parenting support, and struggles with social skills. This process begins with an initial assessment (usually 1 – 2 sessions) where we will explore your reasons for coming to therapy as well as your background and life experiences. Following this we begin working together towards your identified goals and specified needs – usually via weekly or fortnightly therapy sessions (this can be tailored to your needs and availability, as required). Our aim is to work alongside you to build your or your child/adolescent’s skills to better manage the current challenges.

Parenting is one of the toughest and most important jobs there is – and it’s 24/7! Our psychologists have a wealth of knowledge of what truly matters when it comes to be effective and value-driven parents. Whether you’re struggling with difficult behaviours at home or school, are stuck with how to cope with a new developmental phase in your childrens’ lives, or just wanting support to be the best parent you can be – we can help. We can help you wade through all the varied parenting approaches, manuals, and instagram pages, and get to what truly works for you and your children.
As parents ourselves, we understand the challenges involved in truly ‘doing’ what the parenting books say we should do. By combining these experiences, with our training and clinical experience, we can help you experience the immense reward that exists in this important role of parenting (despite the tantrums!).
Cost: $180/hr (GST incl) | Any requested written plans or observations, may incur additional cost.
Our behaviour support service is designed to gain insight and understanding into the causes of your loved one’s challenging behaviour and provide you with the strategies and skills to help you and your family cope.
Our psychologists have experience working with both children and adults with a range of challenging behaviours including aggression, non-compliance, toileting issues, and a range of socially inappropriate behaviour. We have worked with individuals with a range of Intellectual Disabilities, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and various conduct-related disorders.
